Missing Girl's Body Found Near Cottonwood Canyon
Kathy Simon, 15, who vanished May 28 in Table Mountain area 80 miles north, was found dead near Cottonwood Canyon. Nye County Undersheriff Art Sorensen suspects exposure caused death in the snowbound high country. Two men who kept searching located the body after an organized search ended two weeks ago. She had been with her stepfather and mother Ray and Mrs Eden at a campground on Memorial Day when they left her to roam while they fished.
