North Vietnamese armor hits Lang Vei camp near Khe Sanh
UPI reports North Vietnamese troops using nine Russian T34 tanks attacked the Lang Vei Special Forces camp two miles from Laos. Fighting raged with U S officials saying armor was used for the first time in South Vietnam. At least five tanks were knocked out as the clash continued.
