Santa Visits Needles Light Up Local Christmas
Needles children welcomed Santa Claus last Friday with help from Sherie Dudley Marathon Queen Rowena Lyon and others. George Grant of the Chamber of Commerce spoke as Ralph Fisher thanked volunteers and flipped the main switch. John Brady led the decoration drive and the Recreation and Park Department organized the event with candy bars for all children.

Master of Men sermon leads new Presbyterian group in Las Vegas
Congregation The Hear New Minister features Ro bert Giles as student minister speaking Sunday at Charleston Heights Bowl at 11 a.m. Giles interns with Rev. Walter W Hanne at First Presbyterian after three years at San Francisco Theological Seminary. He plans West Coast return in fall 1964 and lives in Las Vegas at 305 Flaxen Circle. The Rev. Harris and wife organize the second Presbyterian work and visit Davis California relatives while attending a ministers conference at Alamo. Their daughter Esther Ruth studies at UC Davis and a son Ed will arrive December 23 from Ontario. A Harris youth meeting for junior and senior high students is set for Sunday at 5 30 p.m. at the Lowman home for those arranging youth fellowship.

Bonanza Air Lines reports 36 percent earnings rise
Bonanza Air Lines Inc. shows first 19 months of this year with net earnings of 669,417 dollars, 73 cents a share, up 36 percent from the prior year. Revenues reach 10,613,421 dollars, up 17 percent from 9,061,015 dollars. October figures show earnings about 49,917 dollars on 1,126,455 dollars in October 1963 versus 959,976 dollars in October 1962.
