Obnoxious Water Taste Blamed on Henderson Mayor Byrne
Former City Health Inspector Dr. Earl Gould blames Mayor William Byrne for cutting the health department to half time and delaying a full time health officer. He cites unreturned reports on water testing and calls for action as the city drains and refills the reservoir. BMI and the city deny blame while a maintenance cycle is set to drain and refill the reservoir every six months. Dr Gould notes pay disparities between full time and on call inspectors.
