LV Banker Zack Taylor Undergoes Open Heart Surgery
R. G. Zack Taylor, retired Air Force major general and former chairman of the board of First Western Savings, is listed in stable condition in Sunrise Hospital’s ICU after open heart surgery Tuesday night. Taylor, a longtime advocate of annexation for Clark County areas, chaired the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in 1975 and helped prepare a 1977 annexation document sent to the Clark County Commission.
