Riggen known as Frosty died January 2 1937 at his home 208 North Eleventh Street after a long illness Funeral services were held at Palm Funeral Home with Rev Gilbert officiating Interment followed at Woodlawn cemetery Pallbearers included Ed Von Tobel Frank Wait W B Mundy Elmer Breckenridge Geo S Day and Eugene Ward Mrs Whipple provided music He was 78 born in St Louis Mo and raised in Wells Nevada later living in Ventura Tombstone Ely and finally Las Vegas He married Catherine Bartlett in 1890 and would have celebrated their 47th anniversary next May served as caretaker at Manganese mines and as superintendent of Woodlawn cemetery
