A crew of construction men and equipment are advancing the main transmission line from Boulder City to Las Vegas for the Southern Nevada Power Company. The project includes the Las Vegas terminal at Main and Garces streets and new transformer stations, with two 75 MVA transformers weighing 31 009 pounds each and oil filling requirements.

Dr. John A. Widtsoe of Salt Lake City was the guest speaker at the Sunday evening session of the LDS church in this city. He is noted as one of the twelve apostles in church government.
