A large Tulsa water system under construction since January 1923 will deliver 2 million gallons daily to over 100000 residents. A 5 foot diameter pipe will carry water from hills to a reservoir near the city, with gravity flow and a second reservoir on hilltops. The project costs about 7900000 dollars and should finish spring 1924, marking Tulsa's first hydrant drinking water.
