A new first class machine shop opens in Biggar offering welding on cracked cylinders and crank cases on short notice. They also charge storage batteries and install various electric equipment. Agents for Delco and Fairbanks lighting outfits.

Rural Municipality of Rosemount No 378 invites sealed tenders for completing a 16 by 24 foot Municipal Hall in Traynor Hamlet. Surrogate Court notice requires all claimants against the estate of Adolphus Daniel Moore who died around October 20 1916 to file by May 12 1917. Claims must include full details and security if any, with executrix Sarah Moore in Saskatchewan or her solicitor Messia Nay Irvine. After the deadline the executrix will distribute assets to those proven entitled, and others may not be liable for assets.
