A first class Machine Shop has opened in Biggar offering cracked cylinders crank cases welded on short notice. The shop accepts storage batteries for charging and installs all kinds of electric equipment. Delco and Fairbanks Lighting Outfits are available.

Local column reports Mr. James Bowes visiting Winnipeg and improving health among townsfolk. W. A. Rose sowed sixteen acres to Marquis wheat, discuss ergot, and Wheat prices rise. A gypsy camp nightly show and a farewell sermon by Rev. McManus at the Presbyterian church. West Shore Rural Telephone Co meeting announced, Nunn Bros. garage work and car sales praised.
After Sunday service at Wolfe the retiring pastor Rev McManus is honored with a purse presented by J J Whiting and a reading of a grateful address from the congregation led by B Baker. The message expresses deep appreciation for his leadership, ideals, and service to the community.
Work handed in since last report includes two pairs donated by Mrs. J. J. Nunn and one pair each from Mrs. H. R. Williams Miss Jacoby and Mrs. DeRoche. Landis Branch of the Canadian Red Cross Relief Fund records contributions from R. Varley for 25 dollars and F. Ferguson for 20 dollars.
Miss Bailey of Scott will visit Devaney's Store in Landis early in May with a line of millinery goods. Announcement to follow.

Rural Municipality of Rosemount invites sealed bids for a 16 by 24 foot Municipal Hall addition in Traynor.
