Rosemount Council Advances Roads and Health Measures
The Rosemount council met at Traynor School approving Wolfe Telephone Co poles on road allowances and delaying the road drag contest. They backed Seed Grain Act amendments, set road foreman wages at 4 dollars, and authorized gopher poisoning contracts with CLP R and Hudsons Bay Co. By-laws 38 and 37 passed third reading. Appointments included medical health officer Dr. Phoenix and Deputy Reeve for next term. They sought Highway Commission aid for several graded and bridged roads and authorized a note for Union Bank.
