The Sheriff of Scott District Saskatchewan announces a sheriff sale of the defendant Gua A Beckevold's undivided interest in the northwest quarter of section 16 township 38 range 16 W 3rd mer. 160 acres more or less with a carved trail portion on plan 5367. Sale set for Tuesday May 1 1917 at 12 o'clock noon at the sheriff's office in Saskatoon for cash.

The Landis Grain Growers Association Limited reports a successful first year as a cooperative. Directors set aside required reserve from 1916 earnings and declared a six percent dividend on paid up capital stock plus a three percent patronage dividend to stockholders and members. Purchasers received four percent back on total purchases, credited on share subscriptions, with further stock dividends to come. The co op shipped 17 cars of merchandise and two cars of livestock, and ordered a car of twine for the new crop.
Prospect buyers are informed that weed wheat seed is withdrawn from sale after official germination tests show Grade 5 at 60 percent in seven days and 40 percent failure, while Grade 2 shows 59 percent in four days and 15 percent failure. Pedigreed Mar is offered at 250 per bushel above market price.

Landis Village Council seeks written tenders for the assessment of the complete townsite properties. Tenders must be delivered by Saturday the 31st. The lowest tender is not necessarily accepted. By order 8S. M. Marty Secretary-Treasurer.

Applications for the weed inspector post in the Rural Municipality of Rosemount No 378 are due at the next regular meeting in Traynor on Saturday April 6. The inspector must provide conveyance and will be paid five dollars per day. James Braithwaite.
Public notice states Minister approved By-law No 15 to join with other municipalities to indemnify crop owners from losses. It declares a special levy of four cents per acre for 1917 on land within the Rural Municipality of Reford No 379, Cavell, dated March 1, 1917.
