Rural Municipality of Reford approves hail insurance by law
Public notice states By-law No. 15 of Rural Municipality of Reford No. 379 authorizes joining with other municipalities to indemnify crop owners within their limits from hail losses. A special assessment of four cents per acre for 1917 is levied on lands within the municipality, with withdrawals allowed under the act. Dated Cavell March 1917.
