The annual meeting of shareholders will be held at a hall in Andis on Saturday January 12 1918 at 1 o clock p m sharp to elect officers for the ensuing year and address other business. A good attendance is requested. E G Youncer President A Russear Secretary

Landis Village Council met January 7 at the Secretary Treasurer’s office. Officers declared, Grenkie reappointed overseer, Nunn named to 1918 council, secretary asked to renew licenses, taxes and meeting notices to be published, Dr. Phoenix named Medical Health Officer for 1918 with a retaining fee of 25.
The Traynor Red Cross Society sent 200 dollars to Regina and plans a Friday evening fundraiser on January 11 in Traynor to aid Mrs. Peat whose home burned. The next society meeting is January 17 at Mrs. Childs home. Various local notes include New Year wolf catch, visitors, and nomination day expenses.
The Landis Ladies Association held its annual meeting at Mrs Roy Nunn's home yesterday afternoon. Mrs J J Nann was elected president with Mrs T Bell as vice president, Mrs RB Nunn as secretary, and Mrs T J Williams as treasurer. Lunch followed the business session.
