Fragmented Confederate era reminiscence and Civil War prose

Readable fragments describe veterans chanting in a wartime vigil, misattributed lines, and an appendix of political letters. The text references Adjutant Byora and Fifth Town Cavalry, with scattered lines about rivers, mountains, and marches, interwoven with a poem memory and political notes on neutrality and Lincoln-era events.
