Lancaster CCC camp remains immobilized after a fierce blizzard from January 22 lasting about a day. Rescue efforts included First Sergeant Fluke and Richard Robertson locating a stranded driver, while Lt Kimsley and Lt Day battled drifts to reach the camp. Indoor activities like inter-barracks games filled the long, cold hours as pipes froze and crews sought shelter.
