A 17 year old Turkish exchange student Tahir Guner Tekudag joined Warwick High School in Lititz as a senior for nine months. Sponsored by the Warwick Chapter of the American Field Service International Scholarship program Tekirdag a Turkish city west of Istanbul means prince s hill. He and sisters Yasmer and Fatma lived in Tekirdag during the school year and stay with parents in Karaculi village in summer.

NEPPCO Tour Lets Farmers View Lancaster Poultry Ops
Harrisburg reports that NEPPCO guests may tour Lancaster County poultry facilities on October 9 with a 10 dollar package including lunch and a Farm Museum visit. Four busloads will be used on a first come basis as the 30th anniversary expo runs October 10 11 12 at the Farm Show Building. Rich Ammon notes the tour is the best bargain offered with the expos.
