State Agriculture officials praised inspector Milton Searfoss for finding gypsy moth egg masses on a poultry crate near the Farm Show Building. The eggs were on crates used to ship pullets for a new egg laying test. no deposits remained on crates checked elsewhere. A subsequent spray plan and area inspections were noted for next spring.
