County Showmen Eclipsed At Livestock Exposition
Lan caster County showmen failed to repeat last year’s sweep at the Pennsylvania Livestock Exposition securing one first three seconds and three thirds. Red Rose 4-H junior yearling Hereford shown by Dallas Wolgemuth Mount Joy Ri captured the lone class win. Grand champion went to 11 year old Bill Davis Schellsburg Bedford County who also won the open class steer show with a 960 pound steer. Davis beat both a York breeder’s Angus and Shorthorn for the junior title and topped a Rishel Hereford as well.
