Feeder Calf Sale Sets High Mark At Lancaster
Abe Diffenbach’s hammer celebrated a new high at the Lancaster Stock Yards as the first annual all Pennsylvania feeder calf sale drew 500 spectators. 379 head brought $38,595.37, weighing 168,965 lbs, averaging 22.85 per cwt. The event, organized by PLASA and Lancaster Livestock Exchange, featured Angus, Herefords and Shorthorns from 300 to 1000 lbs with singles, pairs, and small lots.
