Prices cover slaughter cattle, veal calves, and returned-to-farm sales across Lancaster Vintage New Holland regions with grain prices and hay loads noted.
Oklahoma City report shows feeders trading active with steers 600-800 pounds up to 1.00 higher and bulk goods led by Good and Choice 600-850 pound lots. Heifers mostly 500-700 pounds with varied price ranges across weight classes.
This week Peoria receipts reached 4800 head, up from 4600, with last year at 1700. Slaughter steers and heifers finished 50 to 75 points lower than last week. cows and bulls held steady. High Choice steers weighed 1220-1375 pounds at 38.00-38.50, Choice 975-1325 at 37.00-38.25, and Good to Mixed grades 950-1175 at 35.50-37.25. holsteins 31.50. Slaughter heifers ranged 800-1040 pounds at 35.50-37.00, with other grades 34.00-35.50 and 31.00-34.00. Cows mostly 24.50-27.50, cutter 23.50-26.50, canner 20.00-23.50. Bulls utility/commercial 29.00-33.50.

Market update lists alfalfa and timothy hay loads with prices from 28.00 to 83.00, straw 34.00 to 38.00, corn at 44.00 and 46.50, loins 50.00 to 105.00, rounds 67.00 to 95.00, full plates 34.00 to 34.50, hinds 73.00 to 75.50, and assorted fresh pork cuts with weights and price ranges. Kosher steer beef and spring lamb prices unchanged with outlet generally fair.
