4-H Day Demonstration and Speaking Contest Set
Lancaster County 4-H will hold a demonstration and public speaking contest July 1 1975 at 1 00 p m at the Lancaster Farm and Home Center open to 4 H members who have completed one year. Junior and Senior divisions with time limits. regional competition July 11 1975 at Northern High School Dillsburg and State Achievement Days August 11 13 1975 at Penn State.

Twin Valley Young-Adult Farmers Meet with Guest Speaker
The Twin Valley Young-Adult Farmers gather Tuesday evening June 24 to discuss natural drying of grain. Guest speaker is Mr. Sylvester Steffen author biologist and vice president of Harvestall Industries. He will present a new grain drying technology promising energy savings higher grain weights preserved quality and non-stop harvest.

Wayne K. Lutz Young Farmer Advisor announces a 20 percent energy savings and 10 percent heavier drying for corn over gas dried corn. The program, educational in nature, starts at 7:30 p.m. at Twin Valley High School and is open to anyone in agriculture or related occupations.
