Farm methane power demo at 1973 Ag Progress Days
Dr. Donald Harter announces a demonstration of methane gas generation from cow manure at the 1973 Ag Progress Days August 28 29 30 at Milton Hershey School Farms Hershey PA. The 30 gallon digester by Glenn Miller and Newton Bair uses cow manure water and heat to produce about 2.5 cubic feet of gas daily with 65 percent methane.
