Pennsylvania adopts uniform state milk standards ending local inspections for interstate milk. SB 1330 signed June 15 by Governor Shapp sets temps for transport and pull out dates, prohibits local rules not in state regulations, and enables reciprocal inspections with other states. The move aligns PA with USPHS pasteurization standards to ease trade and reduce tariffs on incoming milk.
