The Farm and Home Foundation Campaign moves quickly toward a $375,000 goal with a Center plan to aid farmers. Noah W. Kreider chairs the Campaign Steering Committee in Manheim R2 as volunteers grow countywide. Campaign leaders Brubaker and Skromme report widespread organization with most districts active. Two kickoff lifts are planned for January with volunteer canvassers in Lititz and the northern county. Continued on Page 11.

Stockholders to Vote on Lancaster Farm Bureau Merger
On January 22 about 4300 common stockholders of the Lancaster County Farm Bureau Cooperative Association will vote on merging the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau with Agway. The special meeting was announced at the annual meeting held at the Manheim Township High School. Directors Graybill Gibble Samuel B Heisey Paul Herr and Melvin Stoltzfus were reappointed to three year terms.
