Annual Crops and Soils Day Planned at Farm and Home Center
Lancaster County marked its 11th annual Crops and Soils Day at the Farm and Home Center on Tuesday February 23 with exhibits by agribusiness firms and a program starting 8 36 am and ending mid afternoon. Speakers include Arnold G. Lueck Penn State ext agronomists John Baylor and Wills Mee LeHan Orvald Bass and others focusing on weed control no till planting silage and hay making grassland and conservation topics. A noon lunch complemented farm displays and discussions with extension staff and agri business exhibitors.
