The Lancaster County 4-H Baby Beef Roundup is set for 1 pm Tuesday at the Lancaster Stock Yards to select 35 head for the Pennsylvania Farm Show. Gypsy Moth Defoliation Totals Two Million Acres
The USDA APHS reports gypsy moth caterpillars caused defoliation across about two million woodland acres in nine Northeastern states this season. Connecticut led with 655000 acres defoliated, followed by Pennsylvania 598000 and New York 479000.
