Glenn Weber Named 1966 Region II Star Farmer
Glenn S Weber of the Grassland FFA chapter is named Region II Star Farmer for 1966, the third consecutive year a Lancaster County FFA member earns the honor. A senior at Garden Spot High School, he has served as FFA president in 1965 and progressed from Star Green Hand to top regional winner, with state competition at the FFA State Convention in January.

Red Rose DHIA Sets Tester-Owned Equipment Policy
The Red Rose Dairy Herd Improvement Association board clarified rules on equipment ownership at a special meeting in Lancaster. It barred testers from owning income producing DHIA meters while allowing use of personally owned meters with no charging. The group will expand to 18 meters, distributed across three county locations.
