Range management boosts cattle and meat through planned grazing
An Agriculture Department official cites a Texas ranch example where planned grazing, brush control, and reseeding raised cattle from 300 to 545 mature head plus 255 heifers, 750 goats, and 3,000 wild deer. The program covers 36.5 million acres with growing adoption aiming for several million more in early 1974.
