A 64 page 1972 study by the USDA CE A shows traders on the Chicago Board of Trade paid over 4.3 million in commissions during a 19 day survey. Nonmembers did 21 percent of volume but paid 69 percent of commissions.
The Forest Service announces removal of charges at about 30 campgrounds and 99 boat ramps under a new law amending the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act.
