Chicago Cattle Trade Receipts Compare Weekly Losses
Cattle receipts for the week totaled 23 700 versus 20 750 last week and 23 900 a year ago. Twelve market receipts reached 174 000 compared with 181 500 last week and 200 150 a year ago. Slaughter steers were mostly 25 lower with slaughter heifers 50 lower, strongest declines for cattle under 350 pounds.
