Broiler prices climbed with 136 800 birds averaging 24.08 cents at the Lancaster Poultry Exchange on Thursday. Last year the average was 21 cents for 166 945 birds. The July 25 sale included 850 heavy fowl at 20.5 cents and 380 Leghorn fowl at 13.54 cents.
