Lee Ressler aged 16, son of Mr and Mrs Harold L Ressler of East Earl R1, won the Conservation Public Speaking Contest sponsored by Lancaster Soil and Water Conservation District. The event at the Farm and Home Center featured nine youths. Ressler spoke on "America Destroyed" and attends Garden Spot High School. Second place went to Roger Campbell, 15.
