Reckless Driving Allegations In Pleasantville Pike Crash
Otis B R Allen and Jay Wilson two Flint glassworkers from the West Side were arrested by Constable Perry Clover on affidavits filed in Justice Parido's court by Miss Annette Schleckman. The affidavits charge reckless driving of an automobile on Labor Day evening on Pleasantville pike and allege the Maxwell car owned and driven by the defendants caused the collision that injured Mrs A Schleckman. Detective Tom Foster located owner and driver names, four others charged were set for Wednesday, released on $100 bond each, Prosecuting Attorney Fultz will handle for Miss Schleckman.

Recruiting drive grows as McNaghten seeks recruits

Death of John Owen Knotts at age ten in South Broad Street
John Owen Knotts died this morning at 5 16 at his home on South Broad Street after a three week illness. He would have turned eleven later this month and is survived by his parents Charles and Mrs Knotts and three brothers Earl Neil and Ralph. His oldest brother Donald died five years ago of diphtheria. Funeral services are set for Monday with Rev. E E Engle of Grace Reformed Church officiating.

Sand Pile Accident on North High Street Injures Woman
Officer W J Bitler reported to Chief Walarie that two loads of sand were dumped on North High street near A H Ginder's place with no lights or danger signals. An automobile struck the pile, overturning the car and tossing the wife onto the street but she sustained no serious injuries. The auto driver's name could not be learned. A danger signal was placed on the pile.
