The First Methodist Church board met at Senator Sites law office to close the year. Senator J. Sites was unanimously re-elected president and Amos Thomas clerk for the ensuing year. George T. Jeffries was unanimously re-elected janitor at the former salary of 50 dollars a month. The minutes were approved and the board adjourned subject to the President's call.

Collision On Kinser Hill Involving Fosnaugh And Martin Autos
Sunday automobile collision on the Hamburg pike near Kinser hill involved Attorney W. S. Martin and Israel Fosnaugh. Fosnaugh was ascending the hill while Martin descended attempting to pass a buggy. both cars reportedly tried to pass the same point and collided as Fosnaugh’s car met the passing attempt. Brown punished for assault and drunkenness after barn nap request
William Brown appeared before Mayor Repass on charges of assaulting Mrs Jennie Woltz and being drunk. He admitted drunkenness but denied wrongdoing, saying he asked to nap in the barn where Mrs Woltz and her husband were present. Mrs Woltz said Brown insulted her, tossed a beer bottle, then threw a spool at her before fleeing. the husband pursued and overtook Brown on the State Farm railroad track. Brown was fined five dollars and costs and sentenced to six days in the county jail.
