Charles McGlone a 17 year old shoe worker residing on Frederick street was struck Saturday evening by a Hotel Martens auto hack as he alighted from a street car in the Main Street safety zone. He was not seriously injured and the driver, a colored chauffeur, did not stop. prosecution under state law was threatened but apparently settled.
