Grace Guest House Provides Sanctuary for Families in Crisis
Grace Guest House a nonprofit near West Seneca border at 2315 Seneca Street Buffalo opened in 2017 to host families while loved ones receive medical care. Executive director Stephanie Lawson noted free lodging with voluntary $40 nightly donations, serving families from Mercy Hospital and five regional hospitals. The house offers seven rooms two connecting for large groups, shared dining, no TVs, and a porch. Fundraising includes the annual Grit and Grace 100 mile motorcycle ride which raised over 200000 in 2024, with a 2025 goal of 100000. Senior Wishes honoree celebrates decades of volunteering
Lancaster resident Sentiff has served six years on Senior Wishes board, five as chair, and remains active with Care Patrol. She and her daughters helped assemble Valentine gift bags for residents, delivering coats and spreading cheer at senior living communities. The Lips, Suds & Sweets event on April 3 at Fox Run will honor her volunteerism with 25 local vendors, music, and a silent auction.
