Lancaster Town Board approves police vehicles and body armor
The board authorized 187 857 65 for five 2023 Dodge Charger pursuit vehicles to replace aging units. Councilor Dickman noted these as reserve cars as production and pricing uncertainty loom for newer models. Funding comes from Public Safety and Police Equipment reserves. Also approved is 40 829 92 for 16 body armor units from a Florida distributor to replace gear in use since 2014.
