Alden native serves aboard U S Navy warship in Pearl Harbor
Alden New York native Chris Anstett serves aboard the guided missile destroyer Wayne E Meyer based at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. A 2017 Canisius High School graduate he joined the Navy two years ago and earns his surface warfare pin while planning to attend nuclear school. Anstett emphasizes teamwork, readiness, and protecting sea lanes as part of a 300-person crew.
