Depew adopts 2023 24 budget and tax shifts
The Depew Village Board approved an 18.2 million dollar budget for 2023 24. Taxes will vary by district with Cheektowaga seeing a 6 plus percent reduction to 8.95 per 1000 and Lancaster up 8.01 percent to 10.29 per 1000. The plan adds 1.1 million from reserves and cites assessment disparities between sides. Public notices set the next meeting for May 8 at Village Hall.
