One Guilty One Innocent in Texas Blue Law Trials
Local businessman Ron Scott, owner of Gibson Discount Store, was found guilty by a six person jury in Justice of the Peace Court on Monday facing misdemeanor Blue Law charges. Carroll Hagle, TG and Y manager, was acquitted by a separate jury on Tuesday. The trials drew 40 to 50 spectators and involved local ministers and businessmen as observers. Plans Move Toward Lamesa High School Renovation
