In Judge George Hansard s 106th District Court two men Frank Coulter 19 Amarillo and Willie West King 24 are sentenced after pleading guilty and waiving jury trials connected to the County Jail escape. Most Lamesa stores and businesses close Thursday for Thanksgiving and reopen Friday. The County Courthouse remains closed Thursday and Friday. Lamesa Federal Savings and Loan closes both days but resumes Friday. City Hall and the Lamesa Post Office operate Friday.
