Cotton trailer fire and three accidents top police log
The city police log this week lists three accidents and a cotton trailer fire. Wednesday saw two collisions near North First and Dallas and at 1100 Lubbock Highway North Lynn, with no injuries and one tow. A cotton trailer fire occurred at 7:46 p.m. north of Sparenburg with damages not reported. a Thursday 1:55 p.m. incident on the south side of the Lamesa City square followed.

DAV Safety Seal drive to begin in January
