Card of Thanks thanks neighbors for aid during affliction and notes marriage of Russell Coates and Dora Thurston at the bride’s parents’ residence. They plan to Denver then establish home at Coates’ new residence. Also announces OK Store opening with groceries and low prices near the depot.
The district voters met at the school house last Monday. About 10 percent of votes were cast. A. N. Parrish elected secretary. C. C. Huddleston won the presidency after a close contest. A new ward school in the west end was approved with a 5 bill levy to fund building. The kindergarten was discontinued due to costs and inconvenience. Morris' Granada store touts cheap hats and large shoe stock bought for cash.
A physician states intent to build a home consulting laboratory and surgical rooms in Lamar. He will treat all acceptable cases, charges exams proportionally to work and instruments used, and limit night calls to serious cases. Bulls medical or surgical are due when services are rendered unless arranged. Office hours by card.
