The Colorado land office annuls a claim against Mat Graham for failure to plant trees on a tract in Prowers County under Section 42 Township 2 Range 41 W. Colorado farmers may compete for sugar beet prizes totaling about 5 000 dollars with the Denver chamber of commerce adding 1 000 dollars to encourage beet growing and other companies contributing to raise the total. Rules will follow after committee agreement. Field and Farm.
Two men bought 1000 sheep in New Mexico on the same day and shipped them to feeding grounds. One load went to the Arkansas valley and the other to Nebraska. They agreed to ship simultaneously and met in Kansas City markets the same day. The valley buyer paid $5.25 a head while the Nebraska seller secured $4.90 per lamb. The feeding details continue.
