Commissioners Proceedings Trespay Carlton tax and 1892 sessions
The Prowers County Board of Commissioners met in regular session with all members present. The assessor was ordered to tax Carlton townsite for 1802 at 2 dollars per Main Street lot and 8 percent for other lots excluding park and schoolhouse block. The road overseer report for district No. 8 was approved. Sundry claims were allowed. A Wilde precinct petition sought Justice of the Peace J W Glenn. prayer granted and appointment made. Board of equalization continued. two officials were hired to audit county treasurer books and prepare to turn over office to successor. Adjourned to 2 a.m. July 9.
