Thanksgiving Week Cold Snap and Town Notes
Saturday night colder weather caused ice in tubs and buckets as Thanksgiving half holiday quieted stores. Lamar residents visited nearby towns, shopped displays lit by electric lights, and a brick Main street store by W. E. Cade neared completion. E. E. Pike planned a Carrizo grocery and feed store with a large merchandise outfit.
