Remembrances of Kathleen Bartlett Palmer, 93

Kathleen Bartlett Palmer died October 4 2016 in California after a life as artist and educator. Born August 22 1923 in Syracuse NY she married James Glenn Palmer Jr in 1945 and later moved to Natick MA and California. She taught watercolor in Laguna Woods, exhibited widely, and is survived by her son, grandson, granddaughter and great grandchildren. A memorial service was held November 5 at Forest Lawn Cypress. Burial occurred October 14.

Laguna Woods Village hosts the Annual Arts and Crafts Bonanza at Clubhouse Four on Saturday November 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday November 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Resident artists offer handcrafts and artworks across ceramics porcelain glass enamel fabric ink oil paint paper metal stone watercolor photography wood beads and yarn. Off-site parking and a free shuttle from the Maintenance Center are available. non residents may attend with shuttle access for gate entry. For details call 949 597 4291.
