No charges filed for GRF director after on-air threat
Orange County DA will not file criminal charges against Golden Rain Foundation director Kim Shirley following a May 5 heated exchange aired on Channel 6 TV. Witnesses say Shirley threatened Sharon Roddan after muting issues, prompting GRF President Kathryn Freshley to ask Shirley to step down. Freshley sought removal from committees, with bylaw rules needing two-thirds Corporate Member vote for director removal. United Mutual President Pat English noted a recall vote may be approved, while Freshley hopes Shirley resigns beforehand.
