In their words GRF and Associa
The Golden Rain Foundation announced on July 2 it was ending its contract with Associa and PCM. The Globe spoke separately with Associa CEO Joey Carona and GRF President Kathryn Freshley to ask what led to the termination. Carona cited a shift by the new GRF board toward cost cutting and a move toward self management, with staff and payroll scrutiny. He says the board wanted a 10 percent payroll cut and the current exec team ousted, but GRF did not respond before the termination notice.
